How a car inspection works

Three steps, and you're only in one of them.

1

Check your ZIP and book

We confirm an inspector covers that area before you enter anything else. Nothing is due upfront.

2

We confirm your inspector

Qualified inspectors near the vehicle are offered the job within seconds. Your inspector contacts the seller — you do not have to.

3

Your report, minutes later

Engine, transmission, brakes, body and a diagnostic scan — with photos, findings and a straight recommendation, sent the moment your inspector submits it. No waiting, no overnight queue.

What a car inspection costs

One flat price. No travel fees, no surprises.

Let's start with where the car is

Common questions about car inspections

When do I pay?

Nothing is due when you book. Once your inspection is done and the report is ready, we send you a payment link. You only ever pay for an inspection that actually happened, and if we cannot find an inspector there is nothing to pay.

Do I need to be there?

No. Most of our customers are buying from another state and never see the car. Your inspector contacts the seller directly, arranges access and sends you everything afterwards.

What if the seller refuses an inspection?

That is useful information in itself. Tell us and we will cancel with no charge. In our experience a seller with nothing to hide has no reason to object.

How quickly will I get the report?

The report is sent the moment your inspector submits it — usually minutes after they finish at the vehicle. The part that takes time is getting an inspector to the car, not writing the report. The ZIP check at the top of booking tells you exactly what we can promise for your location before you commit.

Which inspection do I need?

Standard covers everyday cars, trucks and SUVs. Specialist is for commercial vehicles, anything more than twenty years old, and luxury or exotic cars — vehicles that take longer and need a more experienced inspector. Every add-on is included in the Specialist price.

Is the report a warranty?

No. It describes the vehicle's condition at the time and place of inspection, documented with photos. It is not a guarantee about future reliability, and no visual inspection can find every possible fault.
